Michael B. Easley is a seasoned business consultant and entrepreneur. In Mike’s 40-year career as a certified public accountant, he has assisted hundreds of entrepreneurs in all facets of ”a successful deal,” including valuation, acquisition, disposition, due diligence, negotiation, family succession, and tax structure optimization. Mike is accredited nationally in both business valuation (ABV) and Certified Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mike’s primary focus currently is assisting entrepreneurs and investors in the acquisition and/or sale of business and investment interests. As to sellers, this can include the pre-sale ”grooming,” valuation, marketing, tax optimization, and negotiation of the disposition or merger of privately held business interests. As to those seeking either active or semi-passive investment alternatives, Mike assists in the location of desired targets and their successful negotiation and resolution of many hurdles that accredited investors face in the acquisition of nonpublic business. Similarly, passive investment opportunities are available while simultaneously raising capital or leveraged funds needed for various privately funded concerns.
Mike is a 1975 honors graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. Participating in several community charitable organizations, Mike takes an active role in Houston’s future.
